I wish Delta would order A340-600s and A318s.

And that Bombardier would throw props on the C-series and have the coolest turbo prop ever.

They got instead 4 ERJ-145s. Not 8 to maintain capcity. Just 4. They cut capacity in half. Want to fly on that route? You'll need to pay more.

We hired those folks to run the network with this mantra: determine what jet the route needs then cut that in half and that's the one you get.
Yup. Delta, where we are experts at shrinking demand to the airplane size.

Any update on the 717s and E190s that we're supposedly buying?

If we vote yes, they're ours.

Spanish LCC Volotea starts fleet rollover

Just waiting for the announcement. These deals are usually done at least 6 months ahead of the delivery date and make it easy to take their "old obsolete" aircraft off their hands.

Air Canada agrees to buy up to 75 Bombardier CS300s

Air Canada has 45 E190s the Canadian government is making them replace with C series jets. That means they still have 25 to dispose of.

Jet blue has 24 deferred orders and has been known to sell older planes as they take delivery of new ones keeping the fleet count flat.
