900 4-day out of JFK was an easier trip than a 200 4-day out of DTW in my experience. Fewer, longer legs and greater ability to make up time when needed.
900 will pretty much do FL370 at M.80 with ease at all weights and temperatures. Operating JFK-ORD being on top of a line of TSRA in central PA/western NY vs. the 200 guys out of DTW picking their way through it will make you appreciate the capability of the 900 (and I did my fair share of the latter for 9 years). 900 flies more stable than the 200 and rides better. EICAS will make you spoiled and it's a bit of a letdown when you move over to the 737 or MD88. If you get the chance to fly the 900 and the base/QOL situation works, I highly recommend it. Nice machine.

Fadec aka, climb well above FL180 better than the -200
2 FMS heads
Meals on long legs (-200 limited to 750mi)
Forward lav (worthless when doing less than 750 mi legs)
