AQP is now in place for initial, recurrent, and upgrade. Differences is the last piece and it will be happening very shortly. Either way, the training department will do all we can to make it a low stress learning process. Not saying it's easy, but surprises aren't in the routine, it's all clearly explained, and trained, prior to any jeopardy event. Nobody gets satisfaction in failing someone. If nothing else, the paperwork sucks. So it's avoided, unless it's needed. It happens, but it's rare and normally a result of attitude to not study the things required. It's not rocket science and a much "simpler" process from when I started where you needed to "build the plane". You will be trained on how everything works, and will be checked on what you can control from the flight deck. Everything is laid out with all resources available to learn. Bring a good attitude and a desire to learn and all will be well. Basic instrument skills will be helpful though...
I was under the impression AQP was not live yet for upgrades. Did this change in the last week or so?
