ALPA has a presence on the AAG property via representation of all the WO pilot groups. By extension, this presence exposes ALPA to the AA pilot group. I am not following how is that a conflict of interest. AA pilots would be more likely to vote in ALPA if they secured big gains for the AA WO pilots, plus over half of all new hires to AA will come from ALPA unions, so if the wanted to court the vote then they would be doing it.
