You see all of the "quick upgrade" stuff around. Are you saying that's really not the case now due to their inability to recruit. There seems to be a lot of new metal coming on property, someone is going to have to drive them.
The last few classes have only had a couple of people in them. Yes, we are getting more airplanes, but unless we can hire, we will not have anyone to fly them.
The thought is that we will park 200's and fly the 700's and 900's with the pilots that we have.
The key in an airline is to have as many people behind you as possible. If PSA can not hire, then there will not be any pilots behind you. To get off of reserve, you need a couple of hundred pilots hired behind you. Right now, we not be able to hire 200 pilots in the next 2 years.
