Who's selling you anything? You chose to reply to a thread discussing the merits of switching the acronym on the front door. That's like saying your walking into a car lot knowingly not wanting to look at cars, only to complain about salesmen. Seriously??? Believe it or not, there's probably a lot of us who are inherently adverse to unionism - and you can include me it this category - but I chose to happily accept an offer to work here KNOWING the union was part and parcel with every other grand expectation.

Surely you don't believe that it was all the company's benevolence? No, the APA doesn't pay you, but really??? Wow.

All I can say is the APA is all kinds of screwed up! But wait - uh oh... We are the APA. So how do we get back in the game and make this a better place? If you have figured out a way to get us everything and more than APA, ALPA, or whatever, please impart your wisdom!!!Otherwise, I personally thank you for all you do, and I'll refrain from debasing myself by further suffering a bitter, old fool.
