By crapping on the current pilot group and not honoring the contract he is defeating his own cause, which is to GROW the airline. So far he is only causing the airline to stagnate. Great maneuvering.
He had over 10million bucks on the table, the meeting ended and the union left with nada. That's not a win from any standard. Most of the guys that that were here longer than a year before they upgraded will be gone before anything happens. Every meeting is not a Hail Mary, for holy grail contract. Short yards count.
