Yeah make it super hard to get pilots so they buy Air Wisconsin and merge seniority lists and everyone gets screwed. American can't bend over for one regional because it has to for the other two. If we keep making it hard for them they will just make us hurt. We don't have near as much leverage as we think we do. I think thats a great idea! Air Wisconsin has better pay scales, without it being a blended rate, trip and duty rigs, instead of min day with carve outs, and 12 days off a month. A merger would require a renegotiated contract which is what we want anyway. Both airlines are just barely staffed for the airplanes they have so after the mass exodus of pilots during the merger, AAG ends up with an even larger understaffed airline and 1 less airline to whipsaw us against. I'm all for it.
And I've already said I can't understand why anyone hired here in the last year is still here.(except those that live in base) You have a CL-65 type and proved that you can make it through a 121 training course. Go get paid what you're worth.
