As an FO, you will make more money long term over the next three years based on the union turning first deal down. The company will come back and offer 10K for all pilots annually. You might make 2K less in the short term, but long term you'll earn more as long as you upgrade. Don't be so short sighted.
If you go back and read my post, I actually said I agree that we should fix the issue and not something short term as the bonus was an attempt to do. My issue was how our captains are acting. Now they want "all or no one," when they were more than happy to vote in that god awful flow that benefited only the top third of the list at best. And during that vote, the majority of FOs couldn't vote anyways, so they practically had no voice. I'm not saying I disagree with turning down the company's offer, my point is that our captains are acting childish and it's sad to watch.
