If you go back and read my post, I actually said I agree that we should fix the issue and not something short term as the bonus was an attempt to do. My issue was how our captains are acting. Now they want "all or no one," when they were more than happy to vote in that god awful flow that benefited only the top third of the list at best. And during that vote, the majority of FOs couldn't vote anyways, so they practically had no voice. I'm not saying I disagree with turning down the company's offer, my point is that our captains are acting childish and it's sad to watch.
Most of you weren't here, but back when we signed our CBA in '13 (prior to the 900 LOA,) the FO's all got pay raises of several dollars and the CA's barely got a few cents. The company continued to overlook that part of the group, and its good to see the union finally representing not only the FO's best interests but the CA's as well.
