According to that poll, $10K - $15K new hire bonuses won't either. And retention bonuses would not of prevented anyone from leaving for greener pastures. I think the fact that they are considering offering retention bonuses a bad sign. They know things are going to slow way down. That is why they don't want to offer increased pay. I personally think we will see another recession before the end of the year and they know a lot that we don't.
