Not supporting a deal that benefits half the group is not childish. We could of taken 5K for everyone instead of 10K for FOs but the company said no because they know 5K for everyone won't fill new hire classes. The union would of said yes to 5K for everyone because it's free. The union represents everyone on the list, not just FOs. The company needs to fill new hire classes, hence the 10K bonus for FOs. By saying no, FOs will still soon get 10K annually and Captain will too, have some patience and respect the leverage we have.
Either you're not reading what I'm saying or you're just ignorant. Both times I said I agreed with the decision. And both times I've said what I'm disappointed in is the captains who aren't saying to turn it down because it won't fix the issue, but to turn it down because they weren't getting anything out of it. And I agree the union is suppose to represent the group as a whole, however that didn't happen in October with the flow.
