American never enjoyed the 'C2000' from which to take cuts and LNWA pilots had their pensions frozen also. Delta pilots fared better over the last 15 years and Delta pilots have provided tremendous leadership at ALPA Int'l while United ALPA could not have been more dysfunctional. You're not going to convince the majority that a decade of Moak giveaways for small raises was a great idea.
Fortunately the group woke up a saw that giving away work rules was not worth the small cash we were getting for it.
