To Parker & co. cost is what matters in a regional, not performance (according to both their words and their actions). If all they wanted was performance they could have left us alone as 95% of AA's feed, instead of whipsawing us and giving our planes away to the lowest, and frequently poorest-performing, bidders.

I agree that eventually their hand will be forced and they'll have to throw more money at the staffing problem. I just think that they will continually do too little, too late. Maybe I'll be wrong. I really can't see why you would trust them so eagerly, given their past and current performance.
