They are a pretty good company to work for... good hotels... good food, and you don't have to worry about being stranded at any location without being taken care of for lack of payment like some other supplemental carriers. However, pay, compared to industry standards, is very low... on a par with regional carrier pay. The turn over is primarily with F/Os, since upgrades are almost stagnent. Their primary income is from the DOD. Miami Air has an airplane dedicated to Martinair. They also share an aircraft with EXCEL, a UK carrier, with crews based in the UK during the summer months. Its a good way to get good right seat international experience on glass cockpit aircraft at lower than industry standard wages.
