Envoy is the best regional airline for new hires without previous 121 time. Sure, eight year upgrades and pilot's flowing with 2000 hire dates don't look favorable right now but you must time it right and get ahead of the wave.
Envoy's been going down for awhile. They've hit rock bottom and are just now stabilizing enough to become attractive.
Envoy has a large percentage of lifers which helps with the flow for junior pilots. Envoy didn't hire for a long period of time and not many FOs on the list between 2012 and now will cause the upgrade times to go really junior in about 1.5 years from now.
A low time pilot hired today will need 1.5 years to reach 1000 hours of 121. Once Envoy has a 1.5 year upgrade, new hire classes will be increase in size. I would get ahead of the wave and go their now if I was new to industry without previous 121 time.
Envoy has the same flow-through formula as Piedmont for new hires. Envoy has a decent overall FO compensation with their recent bonuses.
