I'm laughing because pretty much every person on the face of the planet thinks the same way most posters on here are. If you go back in time not too long ago, there are many regionals today (and majors for that matter) that were where those who couldn't hack it at the better carriers went.
Anyone here realize Delta in the 80's was where those who couldn't get hired at United, US Air, or American went? Gasp, yes, it's true. SWA same thing. UPS/FedEx, WAY below industry average.
Look at where Piedmont was even just two years ago. Or CommutAir. Comair at one point was on top of the game, highest paid company of its type out there. XJT was a great company, growing fast, quick upgrades, great contract. Now they have eight year F/Os and are parking airplanes left and right.
