Beyond all the insults, name calling, and childish behavior on this forum the one thing that really gets me is the way some comment with such certainty. I mean, if you guys have this all figured out then why h are you pilots and not on Wall Street? I am genuinely curious as to where that attitude stems from. Is it the giant ego that most pilots, myself not excluded, tend to come with? The most ironic part is that this may be the most uncertain industry on the planet outside of a few others yet some clearly think they have it figured out. It's an interesting dynamic for sure. We live in a world ruled by manuals and checklists yet our futures are so fluid that one couldn't possibly even know what will happen tomorrow, let alone in months.
