The remaining 700s will stay at envoy because psa can't staff accordingly. First year pay is only 2 per hour above what Mesa pays.
There are soo many better options out there right now. Clt is their only commutable base, the other bases are horrific for commuters.
I would look at pdt or envoy before I went to psa if I were looking for a job right now.
Where are your friends making the move to? At Mesa a lot of pilots are also looking to move even if it's lateral because there are so many better options right now. They are realizing the fast upgrades are probably over. Just wondering where people are jumping to.
