In addition Rah has a better contract by far now, better, commuter friendly bases ,better pay ,even with the 15 know bonus Psa is offering, quick math tells me Rah is a better option. In addition, you will be flying a much more superior aircraft.
Passengers hate the crjs, all of them.I've been in the back commuting and heard the comments before. Not to mention having 76 people trample over you in the jet way trying to get their valet bags and catch connecting flights. It's a horrible passenger experience. The 175 is just an overall better, passenger friendly aircraft.
Pay at any of the wholly owned will not increase. They are waiting for one of the other regionals to fail and hoping the pilots jump ship to solve their staffing problem. If the wo''s can't staff properly, those planes will be dealt to whoever they think can,end of story.
Unfortunately, pilots at RAH will have to leave RAH and go to an American wholly owned regional if they want to work at American. Those pilots who left PSA may find themselves right back here.
Now if those RAH pilots move on to Delta or United, that I can't speak to.
There will be no other way to get to American Airlines unless you go through one of their 3 wholly owned regionals.
