Absolutley. Know the contract, fly the contract, do not allow anyone to bully you into accepting an assignment in violation of the contract. If the chief pilot is allowing a violation contact your union rep.

As staffing becomes more of a problem you can count on scheduling pushing pilots to fly outside the contract. With many newer pilots who may fear repercussions they could take advantage. Do not let them. Fly it and grieve it is not acceptable.
