That's pretty typical for any nonsched carrier ala World, Omni, ATA. You need to pack for at least 1 week so on your day of rest, you can do laundry and go for another 6 days. If you're single and have no obligations its a great way to see the world and get paid for doing it to. Miami Air will take good care of you while on the road. You won't lose any weight either as they feed the crews pretty well. The hotels you stay at, while with Miami Air, are pretty respectable too. I would assume that the other nonsched carriers treat their crews as best as possible under the same circumstances.
