Not speaking on the merits of avoiding or going to GoJet, but does any regional (except maybe SkyWest Airlines) HAVE a long term plan??? Even my company "one of the country's largest regionals" seems to have no plan beyond 2017, and is also putting temporary internal appointments (band-aids) on when another key management person bails out.
What I'm saying is you described the whole industry. So maybe new pilots should just pick a company that gets them to their goals the fastest and go for it. Unless you plan to retire there, the company's long term stability doesn't really matter. You could go to GoJet and "get your time" in 2-3 years, then move on to a major.
