FWIW, the 200's repaint schedule got delayed due to AA wanting us to continue to operate the 200's instead of taking some of them offline for paint. This is was posted on the news page on the employee website a couple months ago:

Network Planning asked if PSA could further delay the program until mid-August 2016. This short notice
request was made in order to support scheduled flying that has come under pressure from a crew

Upon receiving this request, xxxx engaged the project manager for the aircraft “Re-paint Program”. xxxx was able to reschedule the program to re-commence in mid-August and be completed by mid- October 2016. This resolution was a win-win as it allowed the planned flight schedules to remain intact and the aircraft “Re-paint Program” to be completed soon thereafter.
