Hahaha, I love how many people believe this. What planet are you living on? The getting hired by any of the majors is still hyper competitive, and will continue to be for quite a long time.

I fly with TONs of guys who are super qualified, and hustle their asses off trying to get picked up by a major, and are still waiting, and will continue to wait. I'm not saying there isn't a lot of opportunity right now, but this idea of ""get in, get your time, and get out to a major in 2-3 years" is a fantasy. It's just not happening, at least right now.

So why not at least go to a regional that isn't a raging dumpster fire, and go to a place with at least somewhat decent pay, work rules, and management?
