Do you really think that the union, who you accuse of doing everything in secret behind closed doors, is going to take the time to address you individually on an anonymous pilot b1tch board? If so, your ego is bigger than previously thought.
The moment you started thinking that you could somehow be partners with the company is where you failed. It's not a partnership, its adversarial. They're just playing you. The contract is all that separates us from them, in any airline.
Jesus, quit being a drama queen. Newsflash: while it's true that management can't function without us, it's also true that the airline isn't going to function without management.
I don't give a rat's ass if Doug get's 17 more DUI's so long as he is able to keep profits up, while simultaneously honoring his promises to his employees to make their compensation meet or exceed their peers at the other Legacy carriers. (note to Doug: take a look at Endeavor's compensation package; that's a good starting place.
And while I hope Dion gets his ass handed to him whenever this arbitration award finally comes out, I also trust him to keep PSA efficient enough to retain and potentially gain more flying as this FFD model continues to shrink in on itself.
You and I both both agree that this regional paradigm is coming to an end, or at the very least the compensation floor has been reset and two of the three legacy carriers haven't recognized that fact yet. These things will get fixed in time, and we really don't need illegal job actions to make it so.
But since you apparently feel differently, please feel free to lead the recall and/or decertification effort so we can all bow to your obviously superior wisdom and experience.
