PSA expands bonus to include 135 time.
PSA Airlines, a wholly owned subsidiary of American Airlines, is expanding its bonus program for new-hire pilots. In addition to the $10,000 signing bonus all new-hire pilots receive, PSA will now offer up to $5,000 for new-hire pilots who have 1,000 hours of Part 135, Part 121 or any combination of the two.
PSA is committed to remaining competitive in the dynamic regional marketplace and the expansion of its bonus program to provide additional benefits to pilots with Part 135 experience helps ensure it attracts and retains the best and brightest pilots in the regional business.
PSA’s existing industry-leading employment opportunity offer the highest quality of life in the regional industry with rapid advancement opportunities and an unmatched pilot flow through program to the largest airline in the world – American Airlines. PSA is a healthy and stable carrier with a defined fleet and growth plan and the airline plays a vital role in American’s long-term regional network. Since 2014, PSA has doubled its size and now operates 106 aircraft and will continue to grow to operate 150 regional jets.
Why don't you just raise pay unstead of just playing games with these bonuses?
Also:
PSA does NOT offer industry leading employment. The company violates our contract daily, and a pilot was threatened with being fired if he did not accept an extension.
PSA does NOT have the highest quality of life in the regional industry. The SAP barely works, and the reserve grid manipulation by the company doesn't allow anyone that isn't on reserve any schedule flexibility whatsoever.
PSA does NOT offer rapid advancement. There are MANY First Officers that have the time and want to upgrade, but can not. There are also many people stuck for months and months being domiciled in bases that are not commutable, with schedules that are not commutable.
