Also:

PSA does NOT offer industry leading employment. The company violates our contract daily, and a pilot was threatened with being fired if he did not accept an extension.

*I've never had an issue with anything here other than my pay check being off. And I've turned down an extension before and called in fatigued and had a missed assignment etc etc

PSA does NOT have the highest quality of life in the regional industry. The SAP barely works, and the reserve grid manipulation by the company doesn't allow anyone that isn't on reserve any schedule flexibility whatsoever.

*SAP works for me and I get what I want every month.

PSA does NOT offer rapid advancement. There are MANY First Officers that have the time and want to upgrade, but can not. There are also many people stuck for months and months being domiciled in bases that are not commutable, with schedules that are not commutable.

*Agreed on the rapid advancement. Unless we see more upgrades (which aren't likely to happen until mid summer or so) id say that someone hired today is looking at 3 years to upgrade. As far as scheduled go, when I was on reserve and holding round 2 build up lines I rarely had to come in the night before and I always went home the day my trip ended.
Replies above in the quote ^^^. Honestly I think some of you guys make this place out to be the absolute worst. Other than low FO pay (which I imagine will have to be fixed this year or else AA won't have any relatively cheap regional feed) I'd say this place has been what they said it would be. Do your research before coming here. It isn't all rainbows and unicorns but it isn't the flaming dumpster fire that some make it out to be. Also, keep in mind that the people you see post on this board are less than 5% of our pilots (if that). And often they are upset with the company about something.
