I mean c'mon, I have read about people failing checkrides and getting hired which I think should be a red flag. If you cant pass a checkride maybe there is reason to believe that the individual has a deficiency somewhere. Just my opinion. Sorry for the long winded post.
Hmm...just a thought before you lose friends here - my brother is a Marine and I can tell you that Civilian training is not the same as Military training. Not all instructors are perfect, not all students are perfect, and not all Examiners are perfectly fair.
And everyone has a bad day once in awhile. You do too. I'd say that is my deficiencey as well as yours and the next guy...
