1900C or 1900D
I prefer the 1900C. As Clue 32 put it. "Lands like a champ, very smooth and stable down low." The C is slimmer and doesn't fly like it has a huge knot on its' forehead. Better in a crosswind and "feels" like it has more directional stability. The good thing about the D is if you are less than 6 feet tall you don't walk out with a knot on your forehead from banging into the ceiling. Unless, of course your the crew and you realize the C and D cockpits still are very small and you bang your head regardless. Clue 32 what area of the country did you fly the C?

My company's uniform policy calls for a baseball cap. I think not, therefore I go without.
Ask thyself this: what's dorkier? An airline pilot wearing a baseball cap, or a 402 driver wearing a traditional "Captain's" hat?
I can only imagine the lines I'd hear..."Are you sure you know how to fly this thing, Captain Stubing?" or "Is that Tenille in the co-pilot's seat?"
Like I said...I go without.

Beech, I flew a US Army 1900C out of Stuttgart Germany for about six months. Took it to Greece, England, Bosnia, Italy, Romania and Georgia. Then the airplane went into a GATM Mod and ACI check for 15 months and by the time it came back I was so close to leaving the organization that I stayed in the BE200 to keep building PC time.
