I've tried reading memos and updates, but haven't seen anything. I was on property and flying for part of 2016, so I should get some money. Thanks in advance. If I'm being thick and I missed something, I apologize.
My (admittedly limited) understanding is that you are only paid for time that you are on property and flying as an "Active" pilot. Meaning, Mil and long term sick leave seniority list pilots won't get the full payout. Instead, they are pro-rated for whatever time they were in fact listed as active. You may want to inquire though whether or not you get the payment at the same time as everyone else (2nd -3rd week of May for the first check of 2016) or if you get it when you come back on as active.
In addition, my understanding is that new hires are no longer receiving the retention bonus and are instead receiving a sign-on or new hire bonus after they complete training. They start receiving the retention year 2.
Can anybody confirm that?
