there is always the option for captains to down bid I guess.....its done I am sure.
with pbs.....seniority is king. I have no heartburn with fo's making 200hrs a month....given what has been taken from this group....and the reality of zero seat advancement over the last decade?
why would I have any heartburn about it? I just flew with an fo who told me he averages 180 hrs/month in pay. First...he is working his azzoff to make that happen....and looked it.
second....he is a year older.....and thousands of numbers junior to me.....his phoney baloney pbgc, note, claim, and furlough adds up to a big fat poke in the eye with a sharp stick.....am I supposed to begrudge him the small opportunity he has created to try and assemble some kind of retirement security?
btw....did you hear about the 330A that made $700K last year? Im pretty sure there are those fo's who don't find the crack in the system to get 200 hrs a month would say there is something wrong with that too.
me? im looking to bid the 330A
