Just caught up with this thread and had a question about the following paragraph from the pilot's letter posted by Purple:

He handed me a medical release form and told me that I had to fill this out for all of my health care visits over the past 2 years and that they wanted all of my 8500's. I was lead to believe at the meeting that Delta's Managing Director of Flying was going to be personally reviewing my 8500's to match them up against all of my doctor visits. As he explained to me, "you had better hope that you put down all of your doctor visits on your 8500's."

So my questions are:

1. Where in the contract or anywhere else does it say we have to give the company access to our FAA form 8500???

2. I thought the medical release was for the specific illness in question. How can they ask for all doctor visits for the last two years???

Thanks,
Capt. Hook
