I read the trip rig grievance award on the DALPA website, KW did a terrible job with the trip rig grievance. It was embarrassing to see that someone who had done as much work as he had couldn't read the plain language in the contract. Maybe if he had been paying attention during the JCBA negotiations and actually read the agreement we could have all avoided that fiasco.

It's like Check Essential said earlier, these moaksters hate him and that's all the endorsement I need.
To be honest, the level to which these guys want to sink the new boat is surprising. I understand they want management to win but I'm just shocked at how low they will stoop.

"On September 2, 2015 I was called by my Chief Pilot, informing me that I was scheduled to meet with him and The Managing Director of Flying on September 21st, 2015 at 13:00 down in Atlanta. When I asked him what the meeting was about he told me that he did not know. He also informed me that he had talked to BB, DTW Captain Rep, informing him of the meeting. I waited a week expecting ALPA to contact me but they never did.
I can't imagine getting such a notification from my CPO and not immediately calling anyone and everyone even remotely connected to ALPA legal, and anyone else I could possibly imagine that may be of some assistance...

Just caught up with this thread and had a question about the following paragraph from the pilot's letter posted by Purple:
He handed me a medical release form and told me that I had to fill this out for all of my health care visits over the past 2 years and that they wanted all of my 8500's. I was lead to believe at the meeting that Delta's Managing Director of Flying was going to be personally reviewing my 8500's to match them up against all of my doctor visits. As he explained to me, "you had better hope that you put down all of your doctor visits on your 8500's."
So my questions are:
1. Where in the contract or anywhere else does it say we have to give the company access to our FAA form 8500???
2. I thought the medical release was for the specific illness in question. How can they ask for all doctor visits for the last two years???
Thanks,
Capt. Hook
