i flew with a guy recently that got turned down by United before he even got past the hogan. He said it was "their loss". He got angry when I said " no man, it was YOUR loss. You lost the opportunity. You lost the huge income increase. It's your loss". Some lifers rationalize anything. Good for me though as it's another spot for a newbie.
