The first thing I read about Mesa was their profile about 12-18 months ago in the Airline Pilot Careers Magazine. The article cast a real positive light on the company. I mentioned that in a post over on APTAP a while back and I was quickly directed to this forum.

While people complain about every regional (except Horizon, no one seems to say anything bad about them) you will see most of the complaints countered by someones positive experiences. However, with the numerous Mesa threads and (seemingly or literally) thousands of posts about them it is next to impossible to find any positive or uplifiting comments that would make me want to work for them.

For the vast majority of pilots out there the regionals are just a stepping stone to a bigger and better paying airline; my takeaway from the Mesa threads on this forum is that you can combine the worst qualities of every other regional to try and create the ugliest company to work for and it would still be a better place to work at then Mesa.

Someone try and convince me otherwise. Do your own research and form your own opinion. Just my 2cents.
