A RAP is not a flight duty period. A pilot may be assigned a flight duty period during his RAP, in which case the RAP + flight duty cannot exceed the lesser of Table B limits + 4 hours, or 16 hours total as measured from the beginning of the RAP (unaugmented). Or Table C limits + 4 hours (augmented)....no 16 hour protection for augmented.
