Endeavor is probably a good spot for a young new hire right now, but wait till Delta onboards those 75 new narrowbodies. The lateral movement, which I was a part of that 500, only perpetrates the bonuses. If and big if PSA experiences a max exodus then Doug & friends will probably do what Delta did. I'd bring up Delta's history with contractors, but then someone will tell me times are different now.
As far as the SAP goes, that's a union issue to which I say, what union? Our MEC should be embarrassed with how it's own Pilot group feels about them. Spare me the arbitration talk and that being the only path to any resolution. Quit signing LOA's that bail the company out. They will take as much rope as you give them. Wouldn't you?
Yes, so that's why I say why bother? Why bother with contacting the useless PSA union that will just tell you to fly it and grieve it then open their mouths for PSA. Why bother with SAP an staying up all night trying for trades? Just deny the trip and/or call in sick, worst case scenario you have to go to Endeavor and get a 20k a year raise.
I understand and acknowledge that endeavor and Delta Are not doing anything they are doing out of the goodness of their hearts, but the difference is they are doing something whereas Dougie and crew are trying to keep it as cheap as they can for as long as they can and we have no idea how long that will be and in the meantime our union seems more than willing to help them with there goal.
Fly it and grieve it, hotels "should" be here in June just like the DAY crew room "should" be ready 1 May and upgrade "should" be 1 year and flow"should" be 5 years.
