Sarcasm aside, on the Flight Info Forum, there were some veritable douche-bags spouting off all sorts of garbage. Other forum members worked diligently to "out" them and try to blackball them. I do not know if they were successful or not, but there did seem to be a concerted effort to identify some of the worst.
I think the advice is spot on. Complaining about customer service in this UAL subsection is akin to griping to the auto worker that the coffee at the car dealership sucked. Why would he care and what can he do about it?
Why risk a potential career? Find some pole to air your grievances instead. But, you are all adults. Do whatever you want.
