The perceived QOL improvement is you can drive to work in a virtual base instead of commuting. The reality is it's the same trip without the deadhead pay and credit to/from ATL, DTW, etc. We are giving up a positive space commute with pay. If traded for improvements in other areas, it may provide a value to both sides.
Is it just the ER in MCO where they're trying to save credit hours or are they looking at VBs in places like SFO, SAN, DCA, ORD, DFW similar to the FAs? Less people commuting may be good for everyone.
