Even if I don't agree with some of the decisions he has made, It takes more than one or two items to justify a recall. He has a stronger track record of helping the pilots of this group than he does "$crewing" them. I don't believe he has taken any action that he purposely tried to "$crew" anyone. Any action that he took, I believe he did with earnest intent.

That is not to say I agree with it all, but I believe he is working toward the betterment of our group.

And I am not trying to keep you from expressing your opinion, but it really isn't your call, and you are not privy to all the things that go on here.

Wow. You actually bought that argument? Tell me something is going to happen (smokescreen) and ask me if I want to influence it. Sure, how can you argue with that. Had absolutely nothing to do with the MAIN issue, which was that about 70% of FedEx pilots wanted OUR MEC to oppose the change. How clear of a majority opinion does the MEC need to follow our wishes?

They also told us that this was going to happen right now, remember, by Memorial Day? (That was in May) What have they said since to justify their rush to cave in on this fast track legislation? A bunch of crap, that is what that was.

Our MEC sold out the majority of FedEx pilots for the mere addition of language about retroactivity for our over 60 FEs in an ALPA policy statement and press release. Just as empty as Prater's ridiculous claims that we're going to take something back.

I can't believe that you bought into the pitiful rationale that the MEC tried to use (the polling data, that they otherwise ignored) to justify making a unilateral decision in direct opposition from the will of the majority.

Our MEC sold us out. They should all go.
