Blackbox: if I get US passport (have been eligible almost 20 years), then I need to give up the one from my birth country, which for family reasons (long-term illness for example) I do not want to do. They allow only dual passports under very few exemptions for their birth citizens. Folks from other countries don't even need to list their other passport anymore. All about "tolerance"and "integration".
