To say it takes 1-2 years to get to where you want to be isn't all that accurate. Unless you mean to the left seat, then yes it certainly is taking a lot less time then a decade ago. I've always been in this for the long game, however, and a quick upgrade isn't and never has been as important to me as going to a place that provides the best future over the course of my entire career.
