Hulas is a pro at making people think they are going to give money without being forced to. After all, the rumor of the pay increase is as effective as actually giving a raise, so why give a raise. At Gojet they started talking about a 9 dollar an hour raise to extend the contract even before it was up. Four years later they got a new contract with only a 7% raise, about half of the rumor amount.

And there is a huge difference between Gojet and TSA. But in either case, if the choice is between you getting the dollar and hulas the dollar will not go to you. There are many guys on the site who have only been to one airline and don't know how to compare. Go to Skywest, they will probably have a STL base by the time you get out of training.
