Both the Union and the company have repeatedly said that the bonus will continue past 2018, right now there is just a disagreement in how it will continue. The Union wants it rolled into the pay rates, the company wants to extend the bonus.
The sky is not falling, quite the contrary. Endeavor is probably the best place to be right now. Pay that no one can come close to, 12 month upgrade, and pretty good contract provisions.
Having been in MSP for training recently, certain management types even admitted they aren't opposed to putting the bonus money in the pay rates, according to what was said in class.
