Basically, PWA says auth'd personal drop will be authorized if reserves avail is greater than 25% of that required according to DBMS and formulas in PWA 23.W.....My question is does DBMS Pilot Reserve Levels reflect the formulas in PWA 23.W or is that something one should calculate to confirm accuracy of DBMS before making plans based on likelihood of APD being approved. I think they just use the numbers from the reserve grid on icrew. If there is at least 25% coverage they have to grant your APD unless its 2 days prior to, or 1 day following any of the holidays that are listed in the PWA. If that is the case, they can deny your APD no matter what the reserve staffing is.
