Yeah, not true. I just took a look at the LAS bid pack and the seniority list...the 2 junior F/Os were hired in April/May 2014.
That was based on one guy in our class who was told by scheduling only two peole ahead of him were looking for it, etc. But yeah it's a small portion, so if 5 people decide they want it tomorrow it can be years.
There's another deal on the east coast which is a similar story.
