What you have no control over is the cookie cutter look HR wants to represent their brand, and what vision they have in their minds as what an airline pilot is. HR sillyness.
United wants to hire 7000 pilots over the next 10 years? American is retiring 90% of their pilots in the next 10 years? And there is everyone else too!
There will be opportunity for everyone to move on to a better place than a regional.
The hardest part of interviewing is understanding that it generally isn't about you. If HR is hiring only pilots with X today, and you have Y, then better luck next time. BUT....tomorrow they will take all the Y's they can.

In a shrinking pool of qualified pilots, everyone will get multiple turns at bat. Keep grinding away, focus on safety, and you too will get there.

BTW in the 60's UAL, DL & AA all hired pilots with ZERO time. When you were offered the job they gave you a letter saying you were hired when you got you CML. The bank
Financed your training and presto- ur a pilot now! 1500 min will help everyone flying now.
