MAG is on a fast road (airway) to death. I do praise the pilots for walking/ choosing another airline. It's an easy decision for some while a difficult decision for others, those with senority.

One thing I have learned in my several careers, it's just not worth it (no matter where you stand in line - read senority #) to take abuse. Especially the kind that JO dishes out.

Many of the other regionals as well as nationals and majors are welcoming MESA pilots. I have atually heard through the grapevine that MESA is calling most of the regional airlines and telling them to stop stealing (hiring) their pilots. The response: Treat your pilots better and they may not leave.

If I were a MESA pilot wanting to leave to a REGIONAL, I would send my resume to SkyWest and Republic. These are the two companies that will benefit the most if MESA goes under. UAL flying will have to be covered and these two companies can find the means to do it. The other UAX carriers . . .I think would have a difficult time.
