I'm from one of the places and live there now, but spent time in the other in in a previous life.
Tangent, we're all rich airline pilots so cost is being extracted. As far as a QOL/activities/weather, etc is concerned one is hands down BETTER THAN THE OTHER. You can NEVER put too much value on living in base, but there's a reason why one is home and I'll always commute till I can hold it as a domicile.
But the recent COL increase in CO/Denver metro area is approaching stupid/unrealistic proportions.
